Move Complete (well almost)!

Post by John Adams » Wed Dec 16, 2009 6:41 pm

So I've landed at the new place, and threw the ISP back online rough and dirty... ;)

Now where did I put that cable?

The MMO NOC!

I'm actually going to build a nice counter/cabinet for the servers eventually... and, don't ask about the a/c unit in the window... that came with the house.

Just because I love pimping VMWare ESX so much, this is a screen shot of my "virtual farm", including EQ2 DB Project, TessEQ2, my EQEmu and Warcraft emulators, etc, all hosted on that big-ass Dell above.

Have I mentioned how much I love virtualization?

Congratulations! Now that you have the most important essentials of life, you can concentrate on the lesser things like....oh I dunno...food maybe...

Yeah, I moved in and forgot to buy food the first week. Was so busy scraping walls and pulling out rancid carpet, I wasn't really very hungry... but the fridge comes this weekend! Time to fill it with cold beer.
