Cannot Connect AGAGIN (Tess's Server)

Tess's Server will not allow me to connect, it says that an error is prohibiting me from playing, (yes i checked the other guys post about it, that did not help me)

Current Version:5771L

The following in my ini file reads:cl_ls_address eq2emulator.net

Errors:I get an error saying something is prohibiting me from playing

Connecting To:I am just trying to connect to TessEQ2 Server

I am using Everquest2.exe

My guys name is Shadow

Even if i try the Emulator and everquest2.exe it doesnt work for me.

I am currently using the RoK version of eq2

Get used to the fact the test servers are down more than they are up. This project is in ALPHA stage, and if you do not know what that means, google software development alpha. Sums up: Feel lucky it's working and "open" testing at all

Edit:Now my eq2 is crashing right before i get to the character loading screen. Its loading and stuff but crashes before that screen.

Does this happen on every server you try to connect to? Bear in mind, like John said, the Emu is in Alpha stage. This means that the developers are trying to stabilize the core, adding bits at a time. You will crash. You will get disconnected. Things won't work. Stuff in the game will act quirky. Your characters will be reset. Your characters will be wiped. Don't expect to have a full fledged working game. We probably have a few more years before we have a working, completely stable, everything works Emulator. In the meantime, you just have to go with the flow. The project is very new. The Devs are working their asses off in their spare time, and I could afford it, I'd pay them a salary

No, i mean after i put my pass and username in, like 3 seconds lating while its loading the character screen, my game crashes

When my game is trying to create the entities for my character list is when my EQ2 crashes.

Sometimes the client has trouble with it's previous crash files and gets into a crash loop. Delete the crashlog.txt (or similiarly named file) from your EQ2 client directory and it should be fine.

This may be a pain, but try reinstalling RoK again and see if that fixes it. I'm beginning to wonder if you issue might be hardware related. How old is your system?

my computer system or my RoK game? I got RoK like maybe a few weeks after it came out at most. My computer is like 2 years old.

Now, it crashes when its "Loading Entity Resources" (this is after i re-installed)
