6122 and server
Sorry if this has already been asked, I searched but could not find anything relating. I patched my EQ2 to 6122; and am using the latest patched emulator. When I try to login(using minilogin) I get the incorrect version error. Should I be wating for another emu update?

Where did you get updates to 6122?

I would guess he did an update when that patch release was used, and hasn't patched since.

True, but since EQ2Live does a update every week or other week, not to mention their hot fixes which I believe also bump of the client version number. In fact, client versions probably increase at a decent rate then?

Re: 6122 and server
Client version (alone) does not effect whether or not you can connect to EQ2Emu or not - we just use client version because it's something anyone can easily see by looking at their window title of the client.
What truly governs your compatibility is the "data version" the client needs in order to connect to SOE server (and similarly, ours). Sometimes we can go literally weeks without ever needing to "bump versions", as we just had to do this last week.

Unless it's changed, the last known client to be compatible with MiniLogin was 5916L.

It has changed =) and actually, is in your control to update. Simply move the opcodes table from your game database to the login servers database.
