*brrrrr*
So spending oh 6 months in Florida has damaged me in more ways than I expected! Coming back up to Michigan was a blast of not only fresh air but COLD air at that! And today and tomorrow we are *suppose* to accumulate up to a foot of new, fresh snow *brrr*. But the worst thing, and I mean WORST! ...
my hot cocoa got cold
... Yes, yes I know I should just either a) Go warm it up, or b) Make some more... but darnit! it's cold and the kitchen is a long ways away! and we have no carpet! So here's my question to you all... Anyone develop a teleportation machine yet I could somewhat "borrow" so I can just teleport from a to b without suffering c?
a = desk
b = kitchen
c = cold

P.S. Odd post I know, but the shivering fingers and the cold cocoa prompted me to type something!

Here in North Wales, we have the most beautiful weather. We hardly see snow since we're surrounded by the Irish Sea. Most snow I've seen here was 3 days, and then it melted all away. We've had a couple of hours of snow here this year, but it was gone by morning. The sky is blue, the sun is shining, clouds are few and light...
BUT OH MY GOD THE FRICKEN WIND HERE IS COLD!!! ARCTIC WINDS BLOWING THROUGH EVERY NOOK AND CRANNY IT CAN FIND!!! I'M GOING ON VACATION TO ANTARCTICA WHERE THE WIND IS WARM!!! OH MY GOD!!! I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!!!

Cold Wind is a horrible, horrible thing. But I have my girl friend who is usually always full of hot air so the wind doesn't usually bother me.... But if any of you tell her, we will all DIE. And not a nice clean way either, she's obsessed with Modern Warefare 2, she would strap us to grenades throw us, shoot us a few times, then drop a nuke on us right after we exploded. And SLOWLY!

Yup I have to deal with the snow too

. And I have to drive in it after work at night too. There is so much on the roads... My 20 minute drive took 40 and wasn't fun.

Clive, this reply might be a bit dated, but in the future...

Arguably one of the greatest inventions in the world.

That is nice, now if they come out with a small portable coffee maker just for that occasion, then I'd be one happy camper!
Bad enough you can get heated desk chairs or (gamer chairs) that have all the connections as well

For that price, you can pick up a couple of solar panels
