Hey guys, I was mucking around on SL today and saw some really odd behavior after upgrading to SVN 406.



This spawn duplicated on its own. One minute normal, one minute not. Then if you click on the naughty one (the copy), you ket kicked off the server and the console registers this error-



This seems to crash the server, although nothing shows on the console stating such. Of course I am not running in debug mode....

Any thoughts or ideas? This is not the only spawn doing it either.

Oh and if you /reload spawns the copy doesn't despawn.

Were you doing anything to seem cause the problem or did it happen "randomly"?

I was creating locations, however it didn't happen to all mobs in those areas. Only a few.

I've been trying for days to reproduce this. You and John are both having the same problem but I cannot get it to happen on my server

You could always load up our dev data, scripts, and do Tayil's first quest like I did. Though I haven't tried to repeat the same effects ... regardless of this bug, I'd like to understand why going through quest steps depops/repops the NPC I'm talking to (though I think it's not really depopping, just a visual glitch).

I may have shown an NPC that has a quest, but there was no questing tied to what was causing my error. Just so you know ;op
