Well I did a fresh install of TSO off the retail discs and did not patch anything. I created an account, logged in, made a character, but am having issues getting into the game. I can only get into one server, something denofshadows, the community one is locked, and Tess and Cookies just lag out at name approval. I tried creating a couple chars on the one server I could log into (denofshadows) and I crash once the zone finishes loading. Any suggestions on what to try next? I was thinking of updating to the most recent compatible patch for better stability?, Is there a way to do this without going beyond what is compatible?
Really appreciate all the hard work and time that has been spent to create an emulator for this game.
