I just recently started playing EQ2 again on live. I had forgotten how fun it could be. I remembered this and came looking. I am currently playing live and expect to for the next few months. As long as I am playing I might as well be gathering data.

My question is: Can I get the packet collector?


Ps. I don't have an Eq2 client that will work with the emulator. My client, the one I finally quit patching, is build 6597L. Should I look to find a 'The Shadows Odyssey' client, or will 6597L be available in the future?

I realize that is a loaded question but I am not wanting to spend the money if I don't need to.

The person who can give you the packet capture is semi-afk with irl stuff. Send John a PM and maybe that'll wake him.

In the meantime, look around the 3rd party tools, I think there's an unpatcher there and I believe the highest version that works with the emulator is 6118L.

I try the unpatcher tomorrow and see how that goes.

Just a ps. The 'unpatcher' worked. I can get into TessEq.
