I have found a few bugs.
1. When loading into a zone if the client crashes loading the entries and the server removes your connection it will not let you zone back in unless you reboot the server.
Error is
Removing client from ip:192.168.1.1 port:49296
Checking timestampflag:
Timeout up!, state=2
Removing connection
2.When loading npc's some of them are walk through and some are not this seems to be totally random but if you spawn them manually they are alway fine.
3.Some things i tried to spawn are invisible for some reason.
Ex.Race Type 2306
-------------------------------------------------
Not sure if this is a bug or not but some npc's are either very small or very big is this a missing size column?
A few bugs

Re: A few bugs
Not sure what you mean by it isn't allowing you to zone in if you crash. The text you posted is normal if you get disconnected.chrrox wrote:I have found a few bugs.

This is caused from a bad location_id in the spawns table.chrrox wrote: 2.When loading npc's some of them are walk through and some are not this seems to be totally random but if you spawn them manually they are alway fine.
heh did you look at the name of Race type 2306 in the appearances table?chrrox wrote: 3.Some things i tried to spawn are invisible for some reason.

Aye, I just recently find the size fields and I havent really implemented them yet.chrrox wrote: -------------------------------------------------

It wont let me log into the zone without it crashing an endless amount of times unless i close the server down and restart it.
How do i get a bad location id? I used parser ill try changing them and see what happens.
Is it possible to see an npc's location id ingame?
I got the object id from the parser. Ill need to look up the correct id's its weird it shows the right name for the object. ah now i see I have a lot of those 2306 , 2308's ill need to look for the correct id's.

It wont let me run the packet collector it asks for an interface then just shuts down.LethalEncounter wrote:Next time it crashes endlessly could you use PacketCollector to get a log of it? Would be helpful for determining the cause of the crash. If you are able to just check it into svn and let me know where you put it.
