C# Packet Collector

Hello All,

I've been working with C# and learning about how it can write, read, gather, collect and save packet information. I was wondering how hard it was to write the original packet collector that we have now, even though it is dead at the moment, and if we could possibly rewrite it to work with the free version so we can begin collecting again.

I know the devs have a lot of work on them now, and are going through as much data as they can but as John said in his old post about the Packet Collector not to be used, they can't collect any new information or old, uncompleted information.

So all in all, to sum this up. I would like to start a new collector, C# based and wondering how hard this would be. I'm sure the original is written in C++ but it shouldn't be much of a difference to port over. (That is pure assumption though)

Well hopefully this nudges some interest.

(:
