Upgrades are nice!

So I recently upgraded my home PC to an i5-2500 3.3GHz quad core thingy, and tossed in 12GB RAM (it's cheap, like $130 for all 12gb!!) and for the first time since the upgrade, I got to do some heavy testing today. Compile times, running 4 simultaneous tasks, is pretty speedy - even on my old 7200rpm drives.
But the real surprise came just now when I was able to launch not only a local login/patch server, but a World server, and then 3 different instances of EQ2 Client - each set with Extreme Quality. Clients still showed around 20fps, and the CPU/Memory didn't seem to flinch.
Finally, something that paid off. Now I fully expect it to go up in flames, since I am finally happy with a setup
