Hey all! Like subject says been out of the loop for about a year (had to focus on other things rather than EQ2! :cry: )

I'm assuming I lost access to the Dev team areas long ago, but ready and raring to get back to bug search and destroy, and whatever content I can handle!

That said, What did I miss, any big exciting developments? (pun definitively intended) :wink:

Welcome Back!

The biggest thing you missed, is lots of tid bits. Little work on trade skills, there have been some revamps in a lot of areas, how we organize SVN, our code comments, etc.

Bug catching is always needed, and there is a thread around that lists all the things that need to be done. Here is a non-exhaustive, and not particularly ordered, list:


Code: Select all

DB Editor 2.0 (php) needs to be finished (without this, we're using the old one again)
If not a PHP editor, then a C# (.net) version based on my DB Editor 2.0 style/concept

Parser - need to parse the latest spawn logs for 3 noob zones collected
Once parsed, pop and build noob zones on EQ2Dev.

World Logging -- HUGE task, needs as many bodies as possible
Finish Tradeskills system
Finish Guilds system (banks?)
Finish in-game mail (attachments?)
Finish GroundSpawn revamp 
Flesh out Loot System revamp 
Investigate adding a "Rules" system much like EQEmu has


Port Wiki to KB Articles (design how they will flow logically)
