I am getting the digital download of the all in one pack. Now if I update to live can I still login to the server? Or will I need to wait till the server can catch up. With that out of the way if there is anything I can do to help with the server development pm me. Thanks guys! and Great work so far!

The server isn't going to catch up to live anytime soon. The plan is to stop at this expansion and get as many things working as possible so that new people have a way to play the emu. If you do patch to live, then you will have to reinstall the game to play the emu again.

More than likely, you will need to go out to the store and buy the new box. DD is probably going to be different from the box, and we have already established that the client in the box, will NOT be the client that is in use on Live the day of the release.
Sooo... buy the new box!

No, the DD version should also be the correct one.

I think it depends on the service. In the past buying an expansion digitally from SOE itself has just been downloading all the relevent files through the patcher. So I don't think that would work.
Maybe if another service offers a base version, without patching...

I hope so. I bought the DD version of the all in one. I guess we shall see if it works.

Yes, I bought the digital download and there is no file, it just activates your patcher.

Hmm, that is odd. I guess if you get the DD from someone other than SOE than they let you download the actual release. I think Alfa did the DD and got it.
