Alpha Stage Bugs (NOT A SUPPORT THREAD)

Post by techguy84 » Wed Aug 08, 2007 5:34 pm

Since things are moving along now and some testers are finally able to log in, there has already been some disuputing over what works and doesnt work, and then the massive "This is not working, please help" things.
I have come to the conclusion that in order for people concerns and disputes to be addressed, we need a thread to maintain these as constatnly sending PM's or tells in IRC isnt going to solve anything.
If you expierence a bug, please note the current stage of the project. Alpha stages are very, very feature-less and can crash frequently. There is almost no content and nothing can be troubleshooted as things are still being built upon and fixed as the developers work.
The developers have a list of things they must accomplish and most complaints are already on thier list. You can report your bugs in Alpha stages, but must correcting of personal instances will happen once project reaches BETA/RC stages.
I hope that everyone understands this and will help keep confusion to a minimum on the dev's side. Also, as you may notice, this is not a support thread. Please do not ask for things to be fixed at this time. The Dev's know that there are issues, but you have to remember that the emulator is not finished at this time so there WILL be issues. Give the dev's time and patinence to sort bugs out.
Post your Bugs that you expierence here. Check before posting to see if said bug has already be put in. Hopefully the Admins will spot this and get a seperate board going for these things.

Well, this is not a permanant solution. As a matter of fact, I belive that Lethal is actually wanting to use the SF bug pages to maintain bugs at the current moment.
To be completely honest though, this thread will not actually be of much use until closed testing truly starts. I though it had but I was wrong. I am leaving it here incase it may be needed soon, or down the road.
