EQ2Emulator is Socializing!

Post by John Adams » Thu Jan 12, 2012 8:53 pm

2012 is going to be a year of change for EQ2Emulator. We're hoping to finish major portions of the server this year, get tons of content done, and more importantly grow our community. We realize in order to attract more attention, we have to "come out of our shell" so to speak. So we've started the year with our first of many Social Networking endeavors.

EQ2Emulator Project is now on Facebook! Link. Come check out or Page (run by Cynnar) and join us in attracting some attention! (hopefully, the good kind  )

We're also Tweeting! @EQ2Emulator

Many more plans in store for 2012! Thanks for coming along for the ride!

I'm not sure how far you are trying to take your advertising campaign right now.

If you are looking for a place to promote your project though, this is a fairly active message board in regards to all things mmo.

They don't freak out about the mention of emulators either, there are quite a few emulator projects talked about there as well as all the new and soon to be released mainstream mmo's.

you might even get enjoyment reading all the competition threads between the classic eq1 emulators ;p

edit...

I forgot to mention, if you don't have an account it will ask you to donate $25 or something like that for posting rights, but you don't really have to donate any money. You can PM one of the board moderators and they should give you posting rights free.
