Project Manager Suggestions

I have a suggestion/request in regard to the project manager. I think it would be great if we had options to further detail in "Server Core/LUA Scripting/Quests" exactly what zones are near completion. As it stands now, the manager is stating quests are 75% complete and that's a little vague, especially if more than one person decides to start scripting quests. I think adding an additional link somewhere, perhaps when clicking on the details link, the manager could show a list containing all zones with the ability to make notes and list % complete for each of those also.

Basically, one step further than it is now, so keep what is shown now for "Quest Scripts" which would now be overall percent complete but have another option to view a breakdown of each zone and the percent complete along with "developer notes" and "assigned to" drop menus like it is now.

I'm not sure exactly how to implement it, but I believe if we could get this additional detail added to this section of the project manager it would allow other team members collaborating with scripting quests a way to keep track of who is working on what, or simply for the sake of assigning who is to work on what.

You're in luck.

Go to the Project Manager (or Status) modules in the Portal, and select Database.

Listed there are all zones we previously started, and their statuses at the time (all will be reset to 0% soon).

I chose to categorize Zones as "Database", because that's really what Content is, aside from LUA. I'd rather just show a zone % completed generally, than expect people to maintain fractional percentages of every possible component. Hope you understand that, so far, no one but me has ever updated a single status themselves. Asking them to do more will probably not work

As for "Quests % complete" that is the Quest System, inside the Server Core itself. Note the category you have selected in the search box.
