Login/Patch Server Outages - COMPLETE!

Starting today, there will be periodic outages of the Public Login and Patch servers while I attempt to upgrade a rather ancient Linux host to something more current. This likely only affects dev servers, since our player population is, well, non-existent. Still, I felt a heads up would be nice

I was just talking to the first person, The Vahshir in the qeynos starting area. Mur-something I think.

I think your memory is worse than mine. The logs showed the last thing you did was go pick a fight with a sparring partner But I was hoping you knew exactly what you did to start that fight. Walk up, swing at him. Stand at a distance, cast. Call his mom a fatherless wench. etc.

Wuuuut? Thats impossible. I remember figuring out that it crashed because I could not complete his dialog, so I tried to camp out but it wouldn't let me.

I think It was playing either the human warrior Vicomte or Bhajan the bard. Probably Vicomte...

Truly, you are the Hail crasher. Though I am fairly certain it was coincidence. Probably those other battling NPCs triggered something, and you were the unlikely victim. We really should figure this one out
