Brothers in Arms

Hi,

I am Kinshi (Chris) Community Manager/QA Lead of the Star Wars Galaxies; A New Hope project. I have been lurking a while now, seeing how things work, and I like what I see (I see a ethic and mentality not unlike what we do over at ANH, not to mention that we too know what its like to have to deal with the SOE Protocol, weird SOE file formats, and client oddities :-D )

At any rate my goal is to try and build some bridges, and open some doors to sharing information and idea as they apply to MMO emulation (and of course our shared work on emulating SOE MMOs).

You can visit us at http://swganh.com as well as visit our new documentation portal at http://swganh.anhstudios.com/docs/ that has all the ins and outs of the ANH server platform.

Also feel free to drop into our IRC whenever and say hi (irc.swganh.com #swganh)

I have already been talking up EQII with my comrades (all good things :-D). At any rate I do think its beneficial for emulator projects to stay in touch with one another, if for nothing else other than moral support (who else knows better what a tribulation and joy making these things can be!)

Hope to see you around.! :)

Good to see you here, Kinshi. Cross-pollinating is a good idea ;) I wish you guys the best of luck with your emulator. Hopefully we can share info to better both projects.
