[0.4] Can't create character.

Using client 4412, when I try to create a new character on a 0.4 server (and a 0.3) I get the message...
Your first character must be at a higher level before you may create another character.
I had a character created when Equea was 0.3, and I was able to log in with that character now the Equea is 0.4, but I cannot create a new one. I also tried with both login accounts with the same results.
I will try with 4523L after I get it restored to my drive.
EDIT - I just tried with a new login account that has zero characters on it. Same problem.

I am also having the same problem.
I do NOT own RoK, And I am using build 4523L.
I even droped the eq2 db and created another and downloaded. still no go.
I went back into the file and made sure that all the information was correct in the ini files.
I do not know if you own RoK or not Jalister, but please post if you do or do not. Perhaps this is only affecting those of us who do not have RoK.

I have the RoK client which is 4412, and it is unpatched.
I also have 4423L, but I now have to extract it. I mistakenly put it in a RAR thinking it would save a lot of space. It saved about 1% space.
