complete collection

Hello all,

I have been dealing with the fustrations of finding a compatible client, but finally figured out the problem. Everytime I tried to use eq2emupatcher and update it to any version it would lock up and freeze or give me .dll errors. I finally got it working though and wanna slap myself for not figuring it out earlier then what i did. You can now add the Complete Collection to your list of compatible box sets John. All you have to do is change the compatibility mode of everquest2.exe to windows 2008 server edition, after patching it with eq2emupatcher to 6118L idk if others will run at this time but will try for ya, and it will load and run perfectly, but however it will not run in any XP compatibility mode nor win 7 mode at all. I do not know at this time if it will run in any other compatibility mode as it is running @ version 6118L and not crashing and dont wanna screw that up. Im a big fan of you guys and keep up the good work all of you....

Also if you update or patch the complete collection at all to current version of EQ2 and then try to update using eq2emupatcher it corrupts everquest2.exe guess thats a sony thing...

It's cool that you took the time to check into that. Thanks for your efforts.

By the end of this year, we'll probably raise our minimum client to the DoV client, but for now we still support the 6118L. Just a heads up, though this update is a long ways off.
