The quest Tainted seems to prevent the DoV(1096) client from logging in, not sure if you have to be on a specific step or not. Server gives an exception in ZoneServer::ClientProcess on my server and I assume that is probably the same error when trying to log into EQ2TC, logging on a SF client I was able to get in and delete the quest then log back in on DoV.

If it works for 1008 and not 1096, that's obviously a structs/data issue. Could be worth investigating, unless there's just something incomplete with that quest to begin with. I seem to remember bugs about "Tainted" in the bug tracker.
