We (quietly) branched the code back in Aug 2012 and have been running extensive tests on EQ2TC before calling this our next "stable release", and so far it passes with flying colors! I want to give a special shout out to Jabantiz for his excellent work fixing our very broken Combat System. Along with these fixes came some updates to how Movement works. While we still have a long way to go, EQ2Emu is far more stable than it was.
The EQ2Emulator 0.7.1 cycle focused on 3 primary tasks;
- 1. Bug Fixes
2. Core Stability
3. DoV Client support
Some of our DB Milestone 1 Data has been fixes as well, but rather that patch that data, we'll just roll it into DB Milestone 2 which should be starting soon (again, yes I know...)
Please check our ChangeLog for changes since January 1, 2012. I assure you, your EQ2Emulator Project is not dead, we're just a little busy trying to learn all we can

What's Next?
Check our our Project Manager portal to see what is currently being worked on in 0.7.2 - Jabantiz is already feverishly working on Tradeskills (making great progress!) and Pets. Zcoretri is finishing Character Development (Passives/AA) and helping me with Achievements. Scatman is revamping core systems for stability and performance, as well as helping me with C# tools to make our jobs easier. I would tell you what Xinux was working on, but then I'd have to kill you...
Lots more, so check it out here:
