Queen's Colony Quest "Doggone It!"

I was unable to start the quest "Doggone It!" in Queen's Colony.

To start the quest you are suppose to clear the morak devourers who are surrounding "a Qeynosian scout" trapped in a tree. Once that happens the "a Qeynosian scout" npc is suppose to exit the tree. The quest link seems to think it should be called "a lost scout" after he exits the tree.


I tried killing the morak devourers but they respawned too quickly so I trained them away.

Then the scout would still not come down out of the tree. I also noticed that the morak devourers never respawned either even after 15 minutes of waiting.


I'm not sure if the quest is broken or some aspect of the respawns is making it impossible to flag this quest. The morak devourers were respawning too quickly for me to successfully kill them off even 5 levels above them.

ps. sorry if there was a bug report format, I couldn't find the sticky mentioned at the top!!

edit. I was running around and I found the group of morak devourers I had deaggroed by running. They seem stuck in place unable to move. I can't attack them to kill them I just get the message

"a Morak devourer is no longer worth any experience or treasure"

Thanks for the report. We'll have a look at the movement/aggro issues, since those were both recently updated.

As for content, it's all getting re-written anyway, so we probably won't fix this version on EQ2TC unless it's something simple. Let me know if it prevents you from progressing in the quest line though, and I can manually flag you passed the bug.
