Item Type: 20

Anyone know what these are? Looking up the item name on ZAMs, I get this: Ancient Knowledge: Greater Essence of Pestilence. Seems to be a recipe book, but not sure why it is classified as a different type. Maybe an augment?

Any ideas? I guess we'll need a struct for it, as well.

It looks like it might be one of the special items used in reforging to change your item.

The item description from the packet
This decoration can be attached to your weapon at a reforging specialist
Not sure what extra info would be in the packet for this type of item as I never used the reforging features on live or in the CoE beta, xinux might know.

Those are decorations which allow you to give your weapon a particle effect when you are reforging it.

These specialists will also allow you to attach a Decoration to your weapon.
Decorations add particle effects to your weapon.
There are several tiers of decorations.
The higher the tier, the more elaborate the effect.
The first tier is available for purchase from Reforging specialists
Higher tiers are available through dungeon drops, Dungeon Maker, and Tradeskill Apprentices.

I guess I can create a new item type for these. Would they be called "REFORGE" (eg., ARMOR, WEAPON, RANGED enums)

Maybe our resident sickie can collect an example :) Otherwise, thanks guys. Going to make an attempt at a struct, even if it's all unknowns for now :)


Edit: Holy balls... got it in the first attempt. Is this possible? Please grade my work :)

I'm changing the struct name, fyi. I got it wrong, they are decorations not reforge lol... :oops:

But must be used at reforger, can't be applied the same way as adornments, which only need right click and use.
Essences are looted but greater quality can be crafted using tradeskill apprentice.
