Hello, I need help! I can not find a suitable game client. Put a version for servers SOE and SF from the disk. Connection Error - another version of the server.

Try patching your SF client to 6118L with this :http://www.eq2emulator.net/phpBB3/viewt ... =49&t=1535. The "very" current client isn't yet compatible, the last compatible clients are from a few weeks ago with data version 1199 (live is currently on 1208 I believe). If you can get your hands on a 1199 data version exe you should be able to replace that in the live client to work (no clue where you could find one though).

Thanks for the link, I was able to go to the server, but there is another problem. I have a client only in Russian. A server does not want prinimal names in Russian. But in the Russian client can not write the name in English. How can I easily change to English? Maybe you have link for client?

I haven't used a foreign client but I did some tests and it seems the way eq2 does languages other than english is it saves some files in the "locale" folder for other character types and has English built in.

If it does work like this, you may be able to just go to your "eq2_default.ini" and edit the line "cl_language russian" to "cl_language English". Your voiceovers and UI will still likely be Russian and I haven't tested this fully myself so not sure if it will work. Give it a try though

Just an update, version 1208 (live) should be compatible again once the test server gets restarted.

Added 1208 data range to Public LoginServer. Restarting now and current live should connect.

Logged in today with the current live client just fine.
