Combat Revamp #42 :)

Thanks to the huge effort by Jabantiz to identify, troubleshoot, design and implement a new Combat system - for the first time in many years - EQ2Emulator has a very functioning, smooth combat system!

Keep in mind, our combat system is still under development; what Jab focused on was the horrible lag, delays, warping and stuck spawns that have ruined the experience for many players. Those problems should be solved - and the team now moves towards adding more completeness to Combat in general.

We need players in the community to log into EQ2TC and go on a killing spree! Focus your attention on Combat and Movement - in and out of combat. Note any spawns disappearing from view, or seeming to hop around randomly. Also, spells/abilities in combat should be fine, though you may have issues looting if a spell kills a spawn (still looking into that one).

Report all defects, please! We can only improve this if you tell us something is wrong. Thanks in advance.

Should I make a backup of live or are you guys planning to keep it up to date?

We are trying to keep it up to date but having a backup is always a good idea in case we fall behind.

As Jab said, backups are your friend. BUT! It is a top priority for us to remain live-compatible since we can now... so hopefully we'll never fall behind again. We got mad tools.

So far there is noticeably less mob 'ghosting' and no target acquisition problems. Only been on a couple times this week, but combat has been smoother and much more polished.
