Quest Items point to wrong ID#

In several quests that require gathering items from groundspawns, the expected item is not obtained.
E.G.- in Timorous Deep, the quest "Curious Ore" [2] requires a player to Gather (skill checked is Mining) 4x 'curious ore' items from the nearby 'curious ore' game objects (ground spawn containers); instead of procuring the curious ores, the items which appear in inventory are [Congealed Blood Sphere]s
E.G.- also in TD, the quest 'Fish of the Chrykori Island' [3] requires a player to Gather (Fishing) 4x 'Chrykori saltfin' items from the various 'school of saltfin' game objects; instead of fishing up the Chrykori saltfins however, one corrals instead [blessed salt] items
There were similar issues, discovered within Queen's Colony and Darklight Wood, since the wipe a few weeks ago. The item ID's were correct then, though in the case of the fishing quest (separately reported bug here), the quest log would not tally the correct items.
O/S is Win Vista Home Prem, Client is patched up DoV, server is ofc 0.7.2-dev
Guessing this is just a database issue; a truncated integer, a column offset, or something.
"If you dire-charm Fippy Darkpaw... are you a_gnoll retentive?"
