Updates

I know LE is busy with coding, Christmas, and life in general. I was just wondering if not him, maybe someone close to the project could post some regular updates like before??
Im eagar to see progress and what is on the fore front since I cannot log into the EMU (until mini login) :D

Yes I have internet, but I have Wildblue which has the ping times of a over burdened pack mule on Valium.
I cant get below 1000ms pinging google, so there is no hope for any online game.

I cannot speak for LE, but I can say that not much in the way of features or functionality has come out yet, so there's nothing really to update you on.
Mostly, we've been seeing stability coding done now that the DB team has started playing with spawns - a few things have come up. Plus, there's the whole "ROK Compatible" functionality. But in game? Nothing much to talk about yet.
Believe me, when something happens, it is posted. Dev posts when a version has been released and what it contains. 0.0.5 is coming, but first, testing has to be done.

Im eager and glad im with you guys on the "ground floor" of the EMU. I just wish there was more I could contribute :D

I believe you should be able to start up your client while online, log into the login server, connect to the world running on your pc, then disconnect from the internet...

As for updates, the most significant ones are mentioned by LE on the front page. Only insignificant code changes are made that aren't really noted.
