Hi I have been thinking about trying to help out some for the EQ2emulator. I loved EQ2 back in the kunark days have had trouble going back to live so decided check out the EQ2emulation. I have been playing with the newest release server a little and I use to run a big WoW server back in the day was fairly popular because I loved data mining spawns and items and adding them as quickly as I could to the server.

So thought if I could help out it would probably be in content spawning mobs, fixing mob hp/stats/abilities/spells/armor, fixing item drops, boss scripts, etc. Noticed the server doesn't seem to have a full mob database was going to start working on pulling mob data and working on spawning content for areas, but wanted to make sure I am not stepping on any toes so to speak or doing work that's already been done. But ya let me know hope I can help out in any way.

Hey there! Yes we are looking for some help with content.

These are old posts but mostly up to date, we do have raw data available at this point.

This next post explains a little more about what exactly content design entails, but it's about what you would expect, and already mentioned in your post.

Shoot John Adams a PM if you're interested.

We have 1 dev server with all content and scripts that feeds everyone else, and tools to get that job done. We do not work on our own local DBs as that would be far too much effort to synchronize. Let me know if you are interested in joining the team fully, we would appreciate the help.
