Hello to you good folk!

I have played EQ2 for years and years, though with a few pauses every now and again. I have tried many games, but found my self to go back to the good old EQ2. I am no one special, just a girl who have been gaming online since i was 18.
Started with DaoC, and that game will always hold a dear place in my heart. Wish more games would keep a Vintage server for those who don't like having their games ruined...
But I thank the beautiful and hard working folks like you guys at EQ2emulator ( or anyone who do work to restore gems of old games ) I was playing SWG, and with out ranting on how my heart bleeds due to its destruction, I will move my self on to EQ2 ( as I did when the going got tough in swg).
I am currently playing EQ2, and it still feels ok, I have a 94 inquisitor, but never got to see the newer content yet, I don't feel the pull to rush to the end games, and in EQ2 it seems like there is always something new and better being released. It is hard to keep up.
I did raid a bit back in the day, between max level 50 to 70. I am not hardcore, not even a little bit, just nice to try a few things with friends.
What I absolutely love with EQ2 is the decorating part, the more they have expanded the game the more new items been given to us to decorate with. Lately, even decorating has been dumbed down. You can buy "ikea flat packs" like items that kills the inventive way of making new things. Like the new rooftops, but that is beside the point.
I have mastered all tradeskills, several times, most of all Carpenter.
I miss the old and more complex crafting systems. When we had to mix salt and pepper to make seasoning for our food. When things was harder, and making the rewards better because you had put time and energy into getting them.
I have been looking for eq2emulator for a while, and for some reason, only found hearsay about the project being put down, the dates showing back in the old 2000 sometime. I tried again to day and finally I made the right click and here you are. I am excited! Still love my EQ2, but I would love it more if I could go back.
I don't know if you could use me for anything, but I do love decorating, and I am currently staying at home, so I have time for something. I can't code, never tried, wish I could though.
I could make cookies and coffee, tell some half good jokes. Though if you need any help that a regular mortal could perform then don't be shy to ask.
