Live Client Compatibility

Post by LethalEncounter » Sat Dec 29, 2007 11:06 am

The current live client (4591L) is now compatible with the emu. For those of you without accounts that means that you can sign up for the free account through SOE and play on the emu when you are done there.
Note that we don't update to live very often so make sure you don't patch again once you have this version.

Thanks LE. Now I finally have a working copy. I was about to patch last night. But instead I checked the forums first and found out I have a working copy now. Now I might be able to try and do some work now.

Excellent! I still run vanilla 4412 (unpatched RoK right of the DvD) and was finally able to login and run around tonight with my lil'gnome Gaurdie Voncrab on the test server. Lets just say I am very happy to finally see the old'Antonica again. Thank you! :)

You don't need to update your client if you already have any of the clients that are currently working. If you canceled your account you might want to update one last time, but once you have a client that works with the emu you are good to go. If at all possible we won't stop supporting a version once we start.
