Created this app because I was tired of registering quest and adding quest details to my local db using HeidiSQL while registering and adding details to EQ2Emulator at the same time. There are a few features currently working.
  • * Load quest by zone
    * Edit, delete, and add new quest
    * Edit, delete, and add new quest details.
    * Parsing from daybreak census when adding new quest
    * No connect to database hassle when launched
    * Can change the database, user, server you connect to.
When the app is first launced you will be greeted with a window to enter in your database credentials. This will only happen the one time and will not reappear next time you launch the app. If you need to switch users, databases, or server location then under Tools click on Credentials and this will bring back the window to enter you informantion in. It hasn't been throughly tested yet but the app is suppose to reload and switch to your new infomation.

When adding a new quest if you want to use daybreaks census simply put the name of the quest in the quest name box and hit the parse button. This will get some of the information for you.

There is some bug squashing to do along with a few more options to work on the quest scripts, but for now I thought I would share this and hope it helps someone out when they add quest to their local database.

This is located on the SVN under tools
QuestEditor.exe
