Feels kinda barren and all with the default phpbb template. Oh well, still better than 13 pages of one thread over at EqEmu. Great to have a dedicated site up now. Cant wait till Nov when this project really takes off. I know tons of people that will be interested in this to get out from underneath the death grip of SOE's p2p.

I'm sure the PHPBB template can be improved.

Me happy too. As long as the EQ2Emu crowed has a place to call home its all good. Actually a nice change from EQemu's board. Cant wait to see this site take off though. Are you just going to stick with a board LE, or are you developing it like EQEmu's with the main page, download section, ect.... If so, let me know if you need help with anything I could possibly lend a hand on, like writing stuff up, or even some image design.
P.S. I actaully like PhpBB over vbulliten. IPB is another good one, but seems to be overly complex with tons of features we would not need here.

I nominate tarzok and techguy84 moderators and to start brewing up some topics (Such as requests for prioritized tasks in development) or other ways to encourage the future userbase to get interested in the project

I'm already trying to design some images that can be put in your sigs or on your community pages to help point people here. This is going to be entirely up to LE on what he wants to do, that is with what is allowed on this site, and what can be used with this projects name on it.
Up to LE to get the ball rolling and appoint his staff of misfits. I dont know if I am up to the Moderator task as I am not a asshole, lol jk. John Adams was interested in this so he may take up a offer on a mod spot since he is one with EQEmu. I think Image also once was with LE working on this so he may even staff here. Then there is saweb, which has been pushing like crazy to get this stuff going again. As you can see, there are more people more qualified than me to take posistions on. I am just here for emotional support.

I nominate you two because I am familiar with your work for EQEMu. I know there are others that could make great mods as well, but there is nothing wrong with a few more. It is indeed up to LethalEncounter, I was simply making some suggestions. As for image, who cares about him psch..

I just think he needs a more creative name.
But really, I'd be happy to do stuff for EQ2EMu because I think it's the greatest thing since The Big Lebowski, but it's all up to LethalEncounter in the end. He is King of these lands.

Ok, I just got done whipping this up. 0 for creativity, but I just wante to get something going.

Just something simple I know, but you get the point. This is a simple button for side bars or possible a MySpace page. Nothing that exceeds normal sizes.
I could help out with content with the website. I dont know how good I can get the layout and stuff. I know very very little php, but to get a overall easy to use website isnt that hard, and then the forms to setup user accounts stuff someone maybe able to help with. I dont think its much harder than using some of the code from EQEmu and just plug and play.
I'll take you up on that offer LE. Got my work cut out for me.
