Max players per account

While Scribble was still logged in, I got bumped out. I figured we crashed but doing a top command I saw where the server was indeed still running. Eq2Emu was showing 3 players online although he was the only person still on. I waited 10 minutes but still the server reported back that I had a character logged in. Is there currently a rule for max characters per account? Is there a way to bump your own character offline?

Were you in the same zone? if so was scribble still fine in that zone? If you weren't in the same zone it is possible that the zone you were in locked up and if that is the case it needs a server restart, this happens occasionally during content dev but we haven't been able to track it down yet.

Hey all! Yeah I was kicked out. I was in a entirely different zone setting spawn locations /setspawn 1(I think that is the command - I made a hotbutton for it ). I was in Antonica and Gang in Neriak. I am currently still locked out and says I have a character still in game.

No crash, but I did find this in the log.
Code: Select all
22:37:00 D Player : Saving LUA History for Player: 'Gangrenus'
22:37:20 E World : Invalid ZoneAuthRequest, disconnecting client.
22:37:20 D CClient : Client Disconnect...

Invalid zone auth is usually a sign of a client desyncing, and as both chars got booted the world server must have deadlocked causing both to time out and drop and once in a deadlock state you need to restart the server as it is essentially a crash without the program stopping. These suck as they are extremely hard to track down where everything is going wrong.
