Hi Folks,

I'm Snowmane, and let me start by saying that I really love the idea of what you are trying to achieve (and it seems you've achieved a scary amount :) )

I played EQ2 since just after launch until 2011 and raided up to Hard mode content at that time. Sadly, our raid guild folded at that point and myself and several close friends decided to quit the game then. Recently I've had a few pangs to play again, and while looking around I found this awesome initiative. At the moment I'm looking around partly to be nosy, but if it looks like I can help out, and the project is to my liking, I hope to contribute something to what you are doing.

In terms of "real world", I have 16-17 years C# experience (I started when it was in beta), and I'm currently principal architect for a (casino) gaming company. While it's rather different and web -> server based (no game loops as such), I'm sure there is plenty of stuff that I would be familiar with. I've also played a little with the Unity game engine (no games you'd want to play so far ;) ) so I'm familiar, if not experienced with some of the general concepts.

In the first instance, if there was anything people wanted to be beta tested I'm game to be a guinea pig, but I think it might be quite fun to actually contribute code wise. I don't have tremendous amounts of time (my job requires me to be on call 24x7 quite often), but there is always something to be done right? :D

Ok...time to login to something :)

Welcome to our small community.

Our main focus right now is building content and we are in the most need of lua scripters for that, of course there is still a lot of other content dev tasks that need to be done as well. It might be nice to have a c# dev around for general tools for the public that we are mostly lacking though. For the server itself there is always more to do, it is c++ though at that tends to scare some people away from it.

Let me know what you are most interested in and I can point you in the right direction.
