well, it's winter now and i seem to be healthy enough to be able to think about doing something, lol

so i'm here and trying to get going. i'm trying to connect to the server and need login information. according to the account mgmt page, my username is taken and i suppose that's by me but i have no clue what the password would be. could someone send me a pm about how to reset it to something i might remember?

looking forward to playing around and making some quests.

I have no clue how to go about resetting passwords for the login server but I sent a message to John and he should be able to help as soon as he gets the message.

er, umm . that'll teach me to assume anything. created a new login account with the same email so i think the one that was taken wasn't me. now to see if i can get logged in with my version of everquest2.exe

i went back to discord again and it's different this time and i CAN see the chat now.

had a glitch on the EQ2Emulator server and had to /exit and can't get back in again since i "already have a toon in the world". that was 5 hrs ago so it doesn't look like i can expect a timeout.

i suppose that might be a good reason to make a local server so that i can kick myself off in case of a glitch but /sigh

I restarted the world so you should be able to get back in. Login accounts aren't restricted by email so you can have multiple accounts per email.

If you want to do content dev send me a pm, I can get you set up with every thing including the ability to reboot the server if you get stuck in game again.

well, i guess instead of just refreshing New Posts every day, i should say something. apparently i overestimated how well i was going to be feeling this winter. i had that little burst of setup energy over xmas and then i went to do something with the database and got tangled up in a mess with M$office that wrecked a whole bunch of things and now i'm just too tired to concentrate on anything for more than 5 minutes again.

i'm going to keep this tab up in the hopes i feel better again some time.
