You don't have to actually buy the game to play with all the files, right? I mean, If I was to patch the game, fully, doing an All File Scan, and recieve the files, I would still be able to play within all zones correct? I'm not sure, I bought EQ2 when it first came out, but im not sure where my CDs are at this time, I would love to play it again tho.... if its possible, PM me or post here. Thanks
*EDIT* If there is no way to patch to the full game via the Trial folder, can someone shoot me the link for the full game please? I want to be able to play on the Emulated servers ASAP... Thanks. *EDIT*

If you don't have the game discs and you don't have a live account then you wont be able to play through all zones unless you manually download them. The reason being the trial client only downloads a few zones because it is assumed that you wont need the rest of them. Performing an "All file scan" won't patch any files other than the ones required for the trial.

Well I know that with EQ1, if you look into the folder then you can find an icon that says Everquest, instead of just Trial. So I was wondering if EQ2 has the same option.... I'm just curious, but also....
The expansion buys are only if you're playing Live right? for example, if i was running my own server then i would have all the expansions, and it won't have to register, but if i was playing on Live then i would need to buy them so that way they are registered onto my account... correct?
just a couple of questions, its beens like 4 years since i played EQ2 hehe...

So it seems that I may need the files, I have the installer to Live, not trial and I can't get the files I need... =( .... anyway of someone sending me a link to an Index with the expansions in it?
