i was copying my db and noticed it took awhile on character history

i have only had my world up a couple weeks, and there are already 39,689,714 rows i dont think all my characters combined have done that many actions that warrant history ie gaining xp

would it hurt deleting the contents of that table and letting it start over then ill keep an eye on it and see what it filling it so fast

Yea something is wrong if you have that many records, an no it won't hurt if you nuke the data.

just to elaborate a little on this i have logged in and done nothing but move a few items around in my bags and everytime the player history is saved in the console, it adds 20 records to the character History so since i nuked it this morning i am up to 500 records all identicle

just zoned to south qeynos the table was at 760 and now is addeing 760 more records on every history save, i looks like to me that history is being loaded on zone in and on the save its saving that many records back out, doing a quick test now, i am at 4560 rows and logging back in

yup and on first history save it doubled my rows to 9120, and will add 9120 rows every save
if i log and come back it with 22800 row each save will add 22800 more rows, and since i camped and logged in about 50 times in th last few days that would make it grow fast

This issue has been resolved, dor somereson my character_history table was missing the Unique key so during the replace into comand form the server it never found a match
