What about not so great plans?
For me I get to figure out why the blades stop spinning when I lower the deck on my riding mower. Then I get to mow the yard. Since I don't get into bed until 3, 4, or 5 am, and I don't get up until 11 am or 12 noon, that should take up most of the daylight I have left.
Next up is a few hours with the wife. Usually a movie, or a few TV shows before she goes to bed. (This is a very important part of the weekend because it's one of the many things I do to ensure I am one of the nerds that got a real live girl.
Once I have slipped some Benadryl, and sleeping pills, into my wife's drink, it doesn't take long for her to become sleeping beauty. At this point I will go visit my father who lives about 200' from my front door. This is another important part of the weekend. Since I'm an only child, and my mother left us when I was 3, my father became my hero, and love spending time with him. Every year he doesn't get any younger, and nobody knows how many years they have left. I can live easier knowing that I didn't miss out by not visiting when I had the chance.
This last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on how edger I am to jump on the computer or how well our conversation is going. Then I let the inner geek out!
Depending on his mood as to what I do next. So far he is happy, so I believe I will be working a little on a project o started some time back. I took Jabantiz's quest parser and pumped it full of steroids. Well I tried anyway. The goal is to get it to automatically parse all available quest on the census. Now if memory serves me correctly, Gangrenous and I got the parser to do just that, but the geek in me is not smart enough to just stop there. I keep telling the jerk that I don't know how to code all of that stuff, but he either doesn't listen, or doesn't give a crap. So I'm going to try and work on the stuff he wants added into the parser. Hoping it will shut him up and I can parse all the quest and be done with it.
Once his butt gets tired, maybe I should spike his drink with sleeping pills
Sunday is s whole different story. I will not have to mow the yard, and I'm going to make that geek learn more on blender.
Side note:
I don't really force my wife to take sleeping pills and Benadryl. She only take Benadryl for allergies.
