Another year has gone by and Eq2emulator is still among us. I want to thank everyone from custom server admins to those who check in on this project from time to time, and everyone in-between. You are the reason Eq2emulator still exists and the forward progress that has been made.

With 2018 here, I have decided to follow that New Year's tradition of making a resolution. Just for Eq2emulator instead of myself. For those that may not be aware, a New Year's resolution is where a person resolves to change an undesired trait or behavior, to accomplish a personal goal or otherwise improve their life. I want Eq2emulator's New Year's resolution to be to resolve the lack of content, and how that is accomplished. I want us as a community to tackle this head on.

To lessen the empty feeling that is invoked while on the emulator, I ask that each one of you join forces in combating the desolate zones. Together we can extinguish the burning feelings of emptiness.

I'm not asking you to abandon your projects, rather to lend a few hours a day for about three days a month to content.

For all that are with me, we will work on one zone at a time until complete, starting with the starter zones first. After those are completed, we will continue with zones following in the order of the expansions. I feel this will get us on a path closer to our final goal!

So unless the Y2K bug finally hits, I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish.

Going to kick this off on the Starter Isles. There has been some development there already.
