Starting Zone(s)

Going back to The Far Journey to start. Then comes a little debate with myself. Do I roll back to Isle of Refuge or stay with Queen's Colony/Outpost of the Overlord. Outpost and Queen's look almost done while Isle of Refuge would require almost completely doing it all (few exceptions that actually exist on Queens/Outpost) Oh well I got all day at work to decide, and feel free to toss your thoughts in.

I would do QC just because of the below post. It would help the Dev team out.

Personally I would use QC/Outpost. Mainly because QC is nearly, if not, complete, and Outpost has a good deal of cleanup already done. Outpost still needs quest developed, and I think there is some in milestone 1 that can be used.

Wasn't the isles basically the same as QC/Outpost? Just isles had 2 different instances, one for good and one for evil?

Yes [mention]Scribble[/mention] is correct, anything you do to QC/Outpost can be added to EQ2Emu content for others to use as well.

While Isle is close to (but not the same as) the other 2 it has different quest lines dealing with class archtype choosing, different mobs/named, and different drops/rewards. .. looking at quest information tho there is none of the quest text available online (that I can find) So I will probably be using the colony/outpost.

I personally miss the original Far Journey and Isle of Refuge. I always wanted to rebuild those myself, as optional content.

Far Journey is back on live, the original isle of refugee zones would have to be recreated from scratch more than likely.

Our db is empty for Far Journey right now. Would it be possible to parse packet logs if someone gathered one up?

If not I think Ememjr has already populated it on his server, and we might be able to add it to our db.

All else it's what like 12 or so npcs and a maybe a couple of objects, and can probably be added in manually.

i have in populated on my server and working on the scripts for it,
main issue i am having atm with it is the timing of the conversations and the movement of npcs from point A to point D via Point B and Point C with a smooth walking experience no stopping at each point
