BUG: repeating messages on quest updates

i am getting repeating messages on quest updates ( those ones that pop up on screen for a few seconds)

ie on Quest Bog Sludge Hunt
after killing 10 bog sludges

the message I have slain several Bog Sludges in the Pet Bog pops up as it should and the pops up again, i have seen it repeating 2 sometime 3 times

This is odd, [mention]Cynnar[/mention] reported the same thing to me while he was doing content dev but I was doing content dev at the same time and didn't have this issue. I believe we were on the same client version as well. Not sure what would cause it to update multiple times for some and be normal for others.

maybe its in the script, have you tried bog sludge hunt in starcrest

btw, last night while zoneing i got stuck in client, closed it came back in and even hours later said i still had character in the world

was playing on mogag

Yes the same thing was happening to me, and I was on the Frankenstein I created by adding [mention]Jabantiz[/mention] CoE exe to the 1191(I think) files. Basically CoE.

When I get home I will test this with a different client. Also will try different quest. Maybe ones that [mention]Ememjr[/mention] are having the problem with, and ones Jabantiz is not having problems with.

Also it seems like I've had this issue before, bit I don't remember a solution, or even discussing it with Jabantiz until now.

Oakmyst forsest
quest= An Ode to Oakmyst

I got the message that I visited the slosh tree 3 times

also got I visited Oakmyst Falls 3 times

all steps repeated, this is AOM client

I have seen this very rarely but I can't track it down as it seems random. I wonder if it has something to do with a /reload quests but could never confirm that.

hmm i will try it without reloading quests, i did happen to reload quests a couple times prior to doing that quest
( was updated spawn ids to complete others
