I'm very interested in advancing this project. Currently and for the next year coming I have LOTS of freetime at hand (working as a coder in health sector).

Correct me if I'm wrong but content seems to be a one of the most needed things... especially quests. First I have a few questions, though.

1) What quests/zones are currently being worked on ? On Discord someone mentioned almost having finished(?) Zek and EL. It my opinion in makes no sense to develop the same quests twice.

Glancing through the quests available in the database some zones already were touched but not finished.

2) Are there any tools available ? I'm experienced in LUA scripting but anything that speeds up the process helps. NPC/Spawn editor ? Quest editor ?
I know of the subforum must most threads seem to be outdated.

3) Is it already possible to add achievements ?

That is correct, we could really use any scripter as that is what we lack the most right now.

1) As far as quests/scripts go I do not think those zones were ever touched. Off the top of my head frostfang is complete, thundering steppes is maybe 25% complete, and nek castles is complete. Qeynos suburbs are complete (as best as we can as they are no longer on live) but some of the combat suburbs haven't been touched though. Freeport suburbs has some work but I am not sure of their status.

There may be a few scripts scattered around in other zones to test stuff (like zigo in zek is set up to open the gate upon his death) but over all the zones haven't been worked on.

2) Yes there are several. There is the lua editor I made and a tool to parse census and generate a quest script, though the script does need editing before it can be used.

3) No achievements yet

If you are interested in helping send me a pm with your character name on the emulator server and I can get you set up to work on it.

As far as this goes, that is someone who is working on their own server instead of the emu

Is it known if this person will "publish" his work ? But I can ask him myself

You are absolutely correct, it makes no sense at all. If it is Siberys you are talking about, then he is not writing scripts. He is collecting chat logs and screenshots of the quest on live. Those are the zones he is done with.

Darklight Wood has some quest written, same with Outpost of the Overlord. The rest is as Jabantiz said, some here some there, nothing that can be called worked on really.
