groundspawn harvest chances

so i was thinking about adding the code for varying the groundspawn loot chances to be more like live
on live you have a better chance of harvesting based on your skill
on emu it just looks at our tables for now
there are the bonus tables already where a bonus table would be adde to give increase rates based on skill level, ( like live) but in basically invalids the skill increase bonus items you can get (around 200+ additional skill at higher levels with my idea below those items will always give you a higher chance harvests based on where you at
so here are my thoughts
out typical table right now is
harvest1 70%
harvest3 20%
harvest5 8%
h imbue 1%
har rare .7%
rare+10 .3%
on perseverance i use 70,50,20,0,5,2, subject to change at anytime, without warning
if you add that up you you would think you are getting a 100% chance to get a harvest but no, the way we do it is a random 0.0 to 100
you get a 6.7 on the chance
it then checks from the bottom of above list and goes up if harvest type % >= chance then thats the one you winand the checking stops
anything chance roll of 70.1 or higher results in Nothing found
I am actually good with this part of the system
the varying portion will be like the following this will only apply to the common for now we could vary it a little for rares
prior to random for the roll we will determine the additional % amount to add like this
if your skill is
7 of 20 we take 7/20 * 30 that will add 10.75 percent to the above values
20 of 20 max 20/20 *30 adds 30% to above values and also guarantees something on every harvest
so abouve adds 1.5 to 30 to your chance
for rare
imbue 7/20 *3 (.15 to 3 chance increase)
rare 7/20 *2 (.1 to 2 chance increase)
plus 10 7/20 (.05 to 1 chance increase)
there is also a better chance to get rares by being well over the skill for that zone and
with the rare harvest chance stat
i do believe that rare harvest chance stat has a max value of 6%
so that is not 6% in changing that above rate of .3 to a 6.3 but more like making it .318 %
suggestions or pros and cons anyone? if i get no response i will implement it
