I just want to let you all know how i priority updates and changes to EQ2emu so here is the order by client that i priority what i am working on

1. AoM (60114)-- this is the latest download freely available that works for us ( so i will do all my intial coding on AoM first then move on to other client support, this client has the least amount of logs collected that i have seen
2. Live -- becuase its live, and can get collects at any time, just not working it right now cuase we cannot log in with this client
3. DoV (1096) -- this seems to be the most compatible right now, as well as it was the last box set, so some want to keep it around, its tough with this one becuase it requires us to maintain more than one way of doing things ie, AA and traits completely different, zones that are premerge (freeport for one
4. CoE (1208) still alot of work for this one but there seems to be plenty of logs
so unles we official drop support for DoV and or CoE, then i will continue to make my changes support all clients in the above order

DoV I think yeah we need to keep around..At some point people may want to play with the older clients and zones. DoV would be a good starting point to work backwards from if someone wanted to tackle that.

CoE doesn't really matter to me. We have logs for it and it could prove useful to have it updated as well. There might be packets there that are very close, if not identical to some AoM packets. As for people getting this client and using it, well it's really non existent as it was a download only client and it's not downloadable anymore. Jabantiz is the one to best answer if support for this one should continue.

Live is one of those tricky ones. While we don't support it yet, some day we will have to. If development falls behind it will be harder to catch up on, but like you said at the same time we can grab logs to help with that.
