What is the client with the highest support right now?

CoE (1208), and Steam AoM client are probably the best, of course DoV also works still.

I do have a couple of DoV box sets around here also.

Do you mean SF? (Sentinel's fate)
If so that client used to work but is not actively maintained so no clue if it still does.
