Is there a full time wiki person, I know how to do wiki's and wouldn't mind running and polling info from the forums over to the wiki, if thats needed?

There is no one currently designated as "the wiki guy", so definitely port anything you wish to the Wiki. Since the entire principle behind Wiki is that it is a living, community-driven knowledgebase, there is no one single admin for all things Wiki imo.
One thing you might want to consider first though is layout or formatting and categorizing. Wiki is pretty cool, and you can use different URL types to help group topics together. And example of this would like like the Help:Contents page -
http://eq2emulator.net/wiki/index.php/Help:Contents
Note the Topic:Subtopic URL.
General EQ2Emulator pages look like they have a starting point here: http://eq2emulator.net/wiki/index.php/E ... ity_Portal
You get the idea. In fact, some pages I made initially probably should be re-done to a better structure, but I was just messing around learning Wiki.
Good luck, and thanks for the effort.

Well, I've been doing a lot of Wiki editing but I'd gladly have anyone else help. Go ahead and insert more knowledge into the ever-growing Wiki portal.

I decided to put some time the next weeks into the wiki for getting a good base to add more detailed infos. So you guys finally are doing something more important than spaming the forums
I've been restructuring a little, adding basic class descriptions, spells and AA.
Will be adding more and more, be patient.
Can someone please add the ability to upload images?
It would be nice to have Images of the AA-Trees, Maps, Race-Images and Item-Images.
So the wiki will be more or less the main database for information for the emulator

I would also be more than willing to help out. I run a wiki for my EQ2 server http://sytheria.wetpaint.com (ya know, for when it is up and running :P ) at and am definately able to start adding stuff on this wiki as well.
On a side note, I have actually begun to catalog creature models over on my wiki, so if you go take a look you will see picture representations of over 100 creature models already ;op

Very nice.
But dont you think it would be better to have them on the offical eq2emu wiki page for reference and content developlemt, rather ONLY at your site? :)

His data + His site = His option. If Zexis is kind enough to share his findings, start porting it over to EQ2Emu Wiki yourself.
Keep in mind, our wiki just became available. People have been gathering data for their own interest for years.

John is right. I began collecting this stuff the day EQ2Emu went public alpha and the model portion of the site went online on Nov. 20th. That was because there was no wiki then. My current plan is to continue updating my wiki with the models. Along the way I will update the official wiki with the master list I have, which I have sorted in a few different ways, for everyone to use. I also plan on putting out picture set PDFs as well for use on the official wiki. If you would prefer me do it another way, let me know, but as of right now that seems to be the way I am headed.

A PDF would be great. I enjoyed it to hava a reference list with pictures like the old eqemu.
Also i like the idea of your wiki to picture every object like collectibles and items.
