Do they still do that in live? Evil island, good island? I was wondering where tutorial_island01 was.

Yes, the outpost still exists, along with Queen's Colony.

Yeah they have an evil and good isle for qeynos and freeport starting toons, people who start in in the eof expansion start in greater faydark in a newbie type designated area, same as gorowyn and neriak, i found everything but Outpost of the Overlord. it could be Tutorial_island01 but i dont have that in my sql tables.

the name of the evil starting zone is tutorial_island02_evil. I tried adding it to my database, but when i zone into it, GameScene.cpp crashes the client.

So you are saying if I have 2 accounts, and on one I create a "good" toon, and on the other I create a "evil" toon, and log in - I will be on 2 separate noob areas?
I was under the impression all toons started in the same place now, aside from the fae's and now sarnaks.
Maybe I should make some new toons tonight.

you don't need different accounts, just different characters. Qeynos characters start on Queen's Colony, Freeport characters start in Outpost of the Overlord. Characters that start in Gorowyn, Neriak, and Kelethin start off in newbie areas near their starting cities.

Aye, I just meant so I could be online at the same time, to see if the two toons end up in the same place.

Although the geography is the same, they are very different places. Different NPCs, different quests, different spawns, etc.

Seriously? Wow. I better go grab another log then.

I haven't played in a while, but I could have sworn the carebears took care of all the good vs evil connotations. Don't want anyone to feel bad about themselves, afterall.
