I've never heard of that error before. What OS? Did you compile it yourself? Provided as much information as possible.

I am using Windows XP with SP2 also have framework 1.1 and 2.0 (dont know if you need them for this though)
I have your server package 0.4 loads up on localhost:9000 and loginserver eq2emulator.net:9100
EQ2 is updated to only 4570L but i tryed it with a fresh install of ROK when i started
when i log in to char select my char is ready i click play hum let me try to pause dos ok when eq2 conects to world a line pops up
AddAuth: 1625 Key: 1204471477
and another line goes to fast but its
something 11
Then the window from Microsoft pops up about it has to close

start , run , cmd
cd to eq2emu dir
type eq2world so the output doesn't get destroyed once eq2world crashes

Try the 0.5 RC and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't I have no clue why it would crash for you unless your dll files are corrupted.
