UPDATE
- Found Cloak SLOT!!

- Added food, drink & Charm slot
along with menu_type and tier column! (learn something new every day)
(Thanks to Zcoretri!)

Ive been messing with the DB, working out slot numbers and such, taken me a while but I still cant find the cloak slot or a lot of the jewelery slots, here's what I have now, I also found a few bugs.
Also have some useful tips (IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO ADD OR CORRECT PLEASE DO!)
DATABASE BUGS:
- Within the eq2.item_appearances table Green is in fact Blue, I've tested this with some armor, putting 255 in green and leaving everything else at 0
The armor then, when loaded into the game on my character is blue not green, this could cause a little confusion and I'm sure it wont take long to rectify.

ARMOR SLOTS:
Primary = 1
Secondary = 2
Primary/Secondary = 3
Ranged = 65536
Ammo = 131072
Head = 4
Cloak = 524288
Chest = 8
Shoulders = 16
Forearms = 32
Hands = 64
Waist = 262144
Legs = 128
Feet = 256
Finger = 512 / 1024
Ear = 2048 / 4096
Neck = 8192
Wrist = 16384 / 32768
Charm = 1048576/2097152
Food = 4194304
Drink = 8388608
COLOURING ARMOR:
Use the RGB Values from this link (currently blue in the database is green and green is blue..)
http://www.allprofitallfree.com/color-wheel2.html
ICONS:
- Download WTV - http://developer.nvidia.com/object/wind ... iewer.html
- Navigate to the interface Icon files in C:\Games\EverQuest II\UI\Default\images\icons
- The Inventory Icons start with icon_is1.dds Open this file and use the mouse wheel
to scroll through the icons until you find one you want, then some simple maths!
- Use Windows Calculator or if you're clever enough work it out in your head, each .dds file
has 36 icons, starting at 0-36 therefore we need to do this.
(I'll use icon_is27 for example)
36 x 26 = 936
Which means the last icon in that page is 936 so take away until you get to the icon you want to
use in the database, icons DO NOT start at 1 but at 0, they also go from left to right and then
start from the left again the next row down.
MENU_TYPE table

EQUIP = 2
NORMAL = 3
BAG = 7
HOUSE_EQUIP = 10
HOUSE = 11
WEAPON WIELD STYLE
1 = Dual Wield Slashing
2 = Main Hand Slashing
3 =
4 = Two-Handed Slashing
Im hoping to turn this into a guide, will add more to it as its either submitted by other users or I find out myself. (ALSO I know its messy im gonna format it correctly when I have a little more info to order, just wanted to get it out there so people can start testing, and making it what its going to be!)

more slot numbers...
Charm = 1048576/2097152
Food = 4194304
Drink = 8388608
Things I have determined messing with the items database...
for the column 'menu_type'...determines the right click menu?
EQUIP = 2
NORMAL = 3
BAG = 7
HOUSE_EQUIP = 10
HOUSE = 11
for the column 'tier'...displays the tier name of the item
UNCOMMON = 3
TREASURED = 4
LEGENDARY = 7
FABLED = 9
MYTHICAL = 12

Nice, Just need to mess with stats now. I have figured out all base stats (str, sta, agi, int) but cannot get the rest.

An issue I'm having is getting the armour to stay on the body visually when I zone into somewhere else or log off and back in, I'm not sure if its implemented yet as I'm more into the Database side of things rather then the Emulator its self, have to poke LE for some info! :lol:

University sucks bigtime :'(
My time is pretty much restricted to a couple of minutes net via my phone :/
Its interesting watching this project, its just sad that there is still only one main developer...
Lethal...respect <3
I hope I can spend some time helping out during July, I believe I have a month vacation then...I should probably float on IRC from time to time.
:lol:

Well thanks for letting us know what's going on :lol:
And yeah, EQ2 isn't getting too much attention for people to want to work as developers. :cry:
