0.6 Priorities
I need to find out what you guys want completed first. Place the following in order from being done first to being done last: get live client working, loot, merchants/bank, doors/zone points, groups, collecting, and guilds. I will get about half of these done before 0.6 is released. The 0.7 release will consist of quests/tradeskills and whatever is left on the above list.

OK, the latest live client works now with the changes that will hit SVN tomorrow. Note that you will have to be using the latest code to use the new client. This means that the server you want to play on has to use the development update server and update their server code before you will be able to play on it.

Great work LE
one thing i didn't see but might be a priority is reviving. grouping / looting is not much good if your dead forever lol.
on a more serious note.
The new changes to the coordinates code seem to be working great I should be able to post an evac spell tomorrow with some luck
Ill try to document the lua script so others can see the examples.

Well since the live client now works, here is my list:
Door/Zone points
Loot
Collecting/Tradeskill nodes
Merchant/Bank
Groups
Guilds
The reason for this is because Loot, Collecting and merchants are all tied together, so i think they would be best don't together. Grouping and guilds don't matter until the game is actually playable solo, so i say get it to that state then work on grouping and Guilds.
One question though, where does AAs fall into this list?

More than likely in the 0.8 release. The plan is to get everything possible working like live in version 1.0, so 0.8 and 0.9 are going to be releases that focus on the 'nice to haves'. Up to that point I will be working on the 'must have' list. I see version 1.0 as being very live like, so that release will come a couple of months after 0.9 is released and has been tuned appropriately. This will give people enough time to level, complete quests, etc and submit any bugs so that they are fixed in 1.0. Oh, speaking of bugs, sometime soon I am going to enable the in game /bug system to forward the bugs directly to the login server so that people can submit them in game.ZexisStryfe wrote: One question though, where does AAs fall into this list?

OK, I got revive points working correctly (with the sequence of events):

If a zone does not have a revive point set, the zone's safe coords are used. I also added a message telling the users to bug the server admin to add a zone point if they dont have one yet:

http://eq2emulator.net/ScreenShots/Death2b.jpg
Doors/zone points will be next

Just wanted to tell everyone that I am still working on the emu. I have been busy the last few weeks so I havent been around much but I am still here
I got looting working correctly. The only other things that I will do before 0.6 is released is get the current live client working (I will probably start doing this once per release) and revamp items. They are in need of some major maintenance.
